Zen in Zambia

I was fortunate enough to be invited in August 2010 to participate in a Habitat for Humanity Global Village Build in Africa. I was part of team that included 2 of my sisters,Peggy & Louisa and we helped built 2 brick houses in the village of Katete, Zambia. We worked hard every day mixing mortar and building bricks to make a home for a local village family. So to get ourselves ready for the day we did Yoga classes. We started off the morning with the roosters waking us up and shared our mats with chickens and dogs under a big beautiful Banyan Tree.
